This is my personal website and blog. I collect as little as I can, I don't sell or share anything you send me, and I don't run ads or advertising trackers. Here is exactly what happens to your information.
The contact form
When you send a message, the form collects your name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and your message. It is emailed to me so I can reply, and it isn't stored in a database on this site.
The subscribe form
If you subscribe for updates, I store your email address and the date you signed up. I use it only to send you updates from this site, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
Third-party services this site loads
- Google reCAPTCHA protects the contact form from spam. Google may set cookies and collect information about your device to do this, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.
- Disqus provides the comment counts on blog posts and the comments themselves. See Disqus's privacy policy.
- Elfsight provides a widget platform script loaded on the home page. See Elfsight's privacy policy.
Links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter are ordinary links: those services don't receive anything from this site unless you click through.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time). They are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Removing your information
To unsubscribe, or to have anything you've sent me deleted, email me@damianniolet.me and I'll remove it.
